Anyone who has had to deal with PTSD, anxiety, or depression, knows what it can do to one's personal life, their health, and mental well-being. Mental health is a topic that needs to be talked about more.
In the depths of my struggles with PTSD, anxiety, and depression, I struggled in my relationships and personal life. Fighting the battle with my mind, I set out to improve my life.
Is it time to change the term mental health? Should we consider a new term, life mental fitness or mental performance?
These are questions we must ask ourselves if we as a society can get past the negative stigma around the term mental health.
As men, we must rethink about our own mental health and how we must understand that in creating a fulfilled life, we must also take care of our own mental well-being!
